I am running 205/70-15 on a 1971, have not had issues.<div>Attached picture - 185/15 and 205/70-15<br></div><div>Bob<br><div style="font-family:Verdana"><br><br><br>On Thu, Jun 21, 2018 at 03:34 PM, COLIN THOM via 6pack wrote:<br><br><blockquote style="border-left: 2px solid rgb(136, 136, 136); margin: 0pt 0pt 0pt 0.8ex; padding-left: 1ex"><div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: #000000"><div>Hi Everybody,</div><div><br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div>This has likely been covered a zillion times but I can't pull up a recent post about it. What are people running for tire size on a stock TR6? I have 205/70/15 and they're kissing the inside of the fender at the 12 o'clock position, when I drive. I know this because a month or so ago I put a little patch of duct tape up in there, and it's showing evidence of being hit by the tires. And, there's a faint but discernible line on the outside shoulder of the tire which I'm guessing is the contact point. I have no idea for how long this has been happening so I don't know if they've been the wrong size for a very long time, or if my suspension has sagged. I suspect the suspension has sagged a bit, but that's a much larger (more expensive) problem then I wish to contemplate. If the overall reaction from all of you is that my tires are much too big, then that's a pretty easy fix, though changing them to avoid a necessary suspension rebuild would be stupid. Thanks to all.</div><div><br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div>Colin</div><div>'75</div></div><hr>_______________________________________________<br>
