I have now effected repairs and hope never to have to do all that again. No doubt, interior coating would be a great help as many folks have already told me they've done. <p>Recent exploits chopping into a triumph frame, I found the inside
was coated as well, and to be in near perfect condition. Most
were 'auto-coated' anyway with enough oil to to preserve the
outside as well (unless you were sitting in a field for years of
course.</p>
