Bruce,

I just use two delrin ferrules (white ones) from the hardware store.  I had to use two ferrules together in order to get the connection to stop leaking years ago.  It works!  The old ferrule was a bit longer than the current ones available.

Regards,

Subject: [6pack] Carbs to ac fuel pump line issue

Having a devil of a time getting leak free connection at pump outlet with the old nut and new olive and tube.  Spitting out fuel between the nut and the copper nickel tube piece.  Noticed that the nut on the inlet still shows a few threads when fully tightened and that connection doesnt leak.   I can try bringing in a new nut with the correct part no.  I have new olives.  I found a 1/2 20  unf male with 1/4'hose barb fitting at McMaster Carr.  Rare stuff unavailable locally.   If that fitting would work I would run 1/4 rubber fuel hose from the pump over to the carb setup and eliminate the nut, olive and metal tube.    Thoughts and experience?   Thank you.   Bruce.  73 tr6
