While it is clearly an unsecured loan, there’s specific verbiage in the offer to say there is a mechanism to ensure that a participant will be repaid in the event of his death.
He is dead. It was untimely.
I understand that the insurance was insufficient so the note holders weren’t made whole at that time.
I’d be quite unhappy if I were one of them too.
