I just put an order in with The Roadster Factory.  I had read this morning
that the business, the cars, the farm, the house and the restaurant had all
been sold to settle outstanding debts.  It turns out that Albert Runyan is
the new owner and (according to the people I spoke to) it is business as
normal.

I placed an order for a TR 6 interior last week. Talked to Chuck yesterday and got an email today. On back order, coming from England in about 6 weeks. No problem.

While it is clearly an unsecured loan, there?s specific verbiage in the offer to say there is a mechanism to ensure that a participant will be repaid in the event of his death. 
He is dead. It was untimely. 
I understand that the insurance was insufficient so the note holders weren?t made whole at that time. 
I?d be quite unhappy if I were one of them too.
