Yes.
The SAME bumper will fit. But not an early model on a late model car.
The original thread was concerning fitting an early model bumper to a late model (75) car.
I luckily found a great center section for a late model car, had it rechromed and did not mount the overriders.
And as Bob described, I added a shim to help.

Once you remove the rubber bumperettes , the same bumper will fit BUT you have to make two ~1/2” blocks to go between the frame and the bumper attachment points. Pretty invisible modification.
