[6pack] [TR] NGK plugs

That happened to me too (ordered from Amazon). I returned them and bought a set of BP6ES from the local autozone. I am curious what the consensus is re the R

I ordered NGK BP6ES but received NGK BPR6ES.  I realize the "R" is for a resistor and is required in modern cars, but any difference for an old British car?
