Hi Steve,

I have a 75 TR6 that came from the factory with hardtop & softtop. The metal bar at the rear of the softtop unbolts and the top is then carefully folded back and down. The hardtop then bolts on, using two bolts at the front, middle & rear. The rear bolts use the same retainers the softtop rear retaining bar.

The car is on the mainland, so I can't be more descriptive. I think the middle supports have to be removed or it will interfere with folding the top down.

I am sixty one years old, I've worked on forty or fifty old TR's. but I have to admit, no TR came to me with a hard top in the past. The convertable bows came along, but out side of the car. I mean separate from the car.
