Are you sure problem is the slave?   My clutch  master was leaking as fluid on carpet, so re-built it and all is good.  Check hard lines, fittings and flexible hose for deterioration and leaking.  Is your bleeder on slave facing upward so air bubbles can rise up and escape?    Middle hole on fork I recall.
