Thanks Bob,
My pleasure, FT is always in my mind when it comes to my projects, mostly telling me to think “what would Fred do?” and do it right.
If you or anyone else remember Fred Thomas and/or has benefited from his powder coating advice and car restoration wisdom I have found the stickers (cling and adhesive pic below) that were made up to remember FT.
Spring cleaning was good for something, I’d been hunting for these and they finally surfaced. I have twenty something of each. Send me your address and I’ll send you some. Tell me cling or adhesive. Cling you can put on clear glass and adhesive is for tool boxes and such. I have them on my windshield and shop window and on my tool boxes.
Fred had the best TR3A I ever saw. He had a pit in his shop like the old time filling stations and once when I called him he was down there waxing the bottom of his frame, his frame for god’s sake, for the upcoming VTR. No wonder he was a best of show winner all the time.
