[6pack] starter wiring

I am putting a new stock starter on a 72 tr6.  there was an off brand starter
on there that failed.  it had everything bolted onto one post, plus one tab.

the new one has two posts and two tabs.  Ibm assuming I ignore one tab and
use one; Ibm confused as to which wires go to which post.

I have 2 brown and 1 heavy black cables, each with a ring on them for the
post.

the wiring diagram shows the two brown going to one post and the black to the
other post.  but it doesnbt really tell me which post.

can someone help me out here?  Ibd like to do that this morning if anyone is
listening . . . .
