Ibm assuming I ignore one tab and use one; Ibm confused as to which wires go to which post. I have 2 brown and 1 heavy black cables, each with a ring on them for the post. the wiring diagram shows the two brown going to one post and the black to the other post. but it doesnbt really tell me which post. can someone help me out here? Ibd like to do that this morning if anyone is listening . . . . That can make a tremendous difference in reception. Also, make sure the antenna is in good shape and the mounting nut is providing a good ground. I screwed the thing to the underside of the passenger footwell where it fit out of sight. That gave me 4 speakers with reasonable sound. I replaced the old radio with a modern high-power unit a year or two ago. Strangely enough, I just dragged the amp into the office this morning to either store or toss. If you want it, give me your mailing address and it's yours. Not perfectly period specific, but at least it gets you back a few decades.
