Some time ago I recall a TR-6 owner suggested setting the timing at a

setting and running the car with the vacuum retard disconnected and plugged.
Anyone recall that thread?  Does anyone drive their TR-6 like that?  Can
anyone recommend a company that can rebuild the TR-6 Distributor to 
eliminate
the wobble in the main shaft?
