[6pack] TR6 Repro Bumper - Quality??

I purchased a complete bumper set (F&R) from a Moss reseller back in 2006. The
finish was good. The way the front bumper fit deviated noticeably compared to
the original. It protruded out a bit and was lower. Not enough that the casual
observer would notice, however.

The rear fitted better but the way it fit relative to the body was a tiny bit
different. I would suggest getting new corner bumpers, too. I tried mixing old
and new parts and it was a struggle to get them all to fit together.

Get new rubber seals that go between the center and corner pieces, too.

Hello,
Can anyone comment from an experience standpoint on the quality of the repro
bumpers for an early TR6? I've heard things from "don't bother, they're
made from tin foil" to "not as good as original but it's ok". I'm
interested specifically about the rear bumper center section for my '71 TR6.
Does anyone have one on their car at this time? Has it been ok? Any
vendors better than the others? I'd much rather have the original
straightened and re-chromed, but here in SoCal the price of chrome work has
gone astronomical.
Thanks, Dennis
