[6pack] Hardtop, window and door - up-down?

I got my factory hardtop in 2005.  In '08 I had a 'Pro' painted (OK, but not
great) and put on all gaskets/bolts.  I went out to drive it.  The passenger
side was good.  The door glass goes up-down to the weatherseal. But the driver
side never goes up;  I get 1/2" from the top glass to the hardtop seal.

Now ('11) the hardtop is in and now both up-down glasses are 1/2".  Rain goes
in my interior!

I had a old archives e-mail with one of a two paragraph on how to fix the
up-down window.
(Also, the words "PITA" where there, too!)

I have a 2002 archives from Jim Davis with some of this, but his had a
disappointment with the windshield/hardtop.  My windshield/hardtop as not
binds.

I need the windows to go 1/2" so I can shut the window and the top seal.

(Also - Do I get new adhesive '3M' for the old (3 years) gaskets?
