[6pack] Age of car, age of me

I was 16 and my girlfriend's brother had a beautiful black 65 MGB and I
wanted one.  Then I sat in her sister's boyfriend's TR6 and decided I
had to have one of those.  I ended up breaking up with her because I
wanted the car and couldn't imagine how I could have both.  I finally
found a '69 for sale for $900. Despite warnings from my father who had
gone through the same thing with my brother and a Renault Caravelle, I
bought it.  It was amazing how much rust that car had sustained in its 7
year life (Pennsylvania).  That was the first of four sixes.  I might
have had another but my wife is wearing the money for that one on her
left hand.  She also benefited recently when the money stash I was
saving for the Ratco frame went towards the 20th anniversary present.
