John,
Lots of different numbers but all to do with whether the crank was a short
or longback crank and whether the crank was cross drilled or not. As far as
I can tell the PI cranks were 214889 which was shortback and cross drilled
fitted up to CP50001, 216538 which was a longback and cross drilled fitted
up to CP52320 and 311322 fitted thereafter which was longback with no cross
drilling. There was also a 214926 but not sure what this was. Carb cranks
were 307546 which was shortback with no cross drilling fitted up to CC50001,
and 311322 which was longback with no cross drilling.
Cheers
Derek

I notices that there are different part numbers for PI cranks versus
Carb crankshafts. Does anyone know what the differences are? Thanks
