No, Thanks for your response.  The setup for static is done without  regard 
to the plug wire to the cylinder.  It is set at TDC to insure that  zero 
degrees on the scale is in fact TDC compression, and then the crank is set  to 
the indicator for static timing and then the distributor is set to points  
just open. Plug wires are marked and checked and were determined to be  
correct before the dynamic timing check.
