[6pack] Free spinning fan hub

I have a 72 with the red fan and its bolted to the extension which is bolted through the pulley to the crank so its really hard for me to picture what you have going unless you have lost/sheared all 4 bolts holding   the extension and pulley on the crank.  If this is the case then the only thing holding it is the big center bolt.  

If that comes off, it will probably be new radiator time as the fan, extender and bolt flies through it.

Quick question with my 72 TR6. Just noticed that the fan and fan hub is free
spinning, along with the pulley for the AC. Crank is tight with the
alternator, water pump belt as well. I don't have time today to really take
time with it, but my first blush guess is the keyway slot on the fan hub is
gone. My next statement is, I cannot remmeber if there is even a slot or is it
just bolted. Any input appreciated!
