I agree partly with you:  there are TWO types of Rotella.  I personally
don't use Rotella but I have been reading the ZDDP threads and researching.
I was at the parts store just last week, and there are two flavours of
Rotella.  I think there is a 'low' and the original high ZDDP version still
available.  

Might want to check your parts store...
