If this has not already been answered, I advise using a heat gun to
soften the rubberized material.

Subject: [6pack] Window glass
I am replacing my window glass on the drivers and passenger doors on my
TR250. The passenger window was attached to the window regulator with
a
rubber sleeve that had disintegrated and it came out easily. The other
side has the regulator firmly attached with some material that is softer
but much more tenacious. Its out of the car but now I need to remove the
metal part
from the glass. Any suggestions on how to loosen its grip on the
window
glass without risking breaking the window? This has been in an
unheated
garage at 30 Fand I've just brought it inside
Thanks, Steve
