[6pack] Clutch Hydraulics

Like Irv, I had this happen, too. Clutch master was empty of fluid, but
there was no puddle on the carpet below the slave, no puddle in the
footwell, no sign of leakage from the master, etc...

Quite a bit of the fluid ended up being in the rubber cover of the
slave... when I removed the slave, the fluid was happy to drip all over my
arm. :)

You could also have a crack in the plastic hose which runs between the
slave and the metal line that is connected to the master... even though I
discovered it was my slave that was bad (replaced it with a long throw
slave, BTW... totally changed the feel of the clutch), I replaced the
plastic hose as well, just in case.... since it's easy to replace, and
doesn't cost much for a new one (unless you go braided!), I figured it was
a no brainer.

And it wouldn't surprise me if you saw fluid on the passenger side. Fluid
may have run from around the seal to the mount, over to the bell housing,
and then onto the ground from there.

Good luck!
