And those speakers in the mid 90's seats will need to be replaced as they are
designed for the Miata audio system and will not be suitable for anything
else. There is enough room in the headrests for some 3" full range speakers
after a bit of hackery with the foam.

Hi Sloane,

My understanding is that any year Miata seats will fit, tho most people
prefer
the 90-97 with the headrest speakers.
