These three articles on paint removal, prepping before painting and painting were originally on the internet back in about 2000 to 2012. After that they disappeared. They were 3 articles on stripping paint, prepping for paint and painting.

Thanks to the WAYBACK MACHINE I was able to recover an archived copy of the 3 articles:

  1. Getting the Old Paint Off
This article will de-mystify the painting process and provide you with knowledge that will prove useful whether you decide to attempt paint work yourself or hire a professional.

  2. Preparing for Paint
This is the second article in the series on painting your classic car. Your goal, through a process of gradual refinement, is to create a surface as perfectly smooth and as free from flaws as possible.

  3. Applying Paint
Two previous articles descibed the process of preparing a surface for painting. Up to this point our aim has been to create a clean, level surface as smooth and flawless as possible. Now we're ready to paint!
