Your best bet is to call Terry Tanner and get one that he has reinforced. This help keep them from bending and making it harder to roll up the windows. John John T. Now is your chance to be a reporter and write an article about your adventures going, coming and at the meet. Did you trip go smoothly? That's great, tells. Did you stop at any interesting places on the way to or from the meet? Great - tell us. Be sure to take pictures of these places. Did you stop an see the worlds largest ball of string? Fanstastic. I'd love to see a picture if it, because I haven't seen it. 3. Did you have a problem on the way to, coming home from, or at the meet? How did you fix it? Did you have help from either a garage or someone at the meet? Again take pictures of the problem, working on it and tell us about it. 4. Is this your first meet? If so, how did you like it? What could be done to make the meet better. What didn't you like, etc. Be save, have fun, and keep the pictures and articles coming. I'm starting to run low. I think I've got enough for one more issue of the Brickline. This is your magazine. Where you can help your fellow club members, and get help from them. Remember we are all in this together. Amoroso, CPA" John --------------- From "Paul J. Amoroso, CPA" Hi; The 40 year old has a leaky brake cylinder which was fixed....checked for a '75 Matador and Advance Auto had the parts IN STOCK, along with the brake shoes! But the metal 1/4" brake line to the wheel cylinder could not be loosened and I needed to replace it. The line goes from the wheel toward the middle of the rear axle where it goes into a small brass distribution block. That screws down into the rear axle. The feed for that block is a rubber (hydraulic?) hose about a foot long which goes to a connection into another metal 1/4" brake line. It seems like the rubber hose is actually part of the brass distribution block. I'm guessing it's rubber to allow for the movement of the rear axle, up and down. Makes sense. Do you know if there have been how-to articles on this in the Brickline? Does anyone know where the brass block and /or rubber hose are from or where I could get one? Do any of our B parts suppliers have these things? I'd like to patronize them. Virtually all of our cars are 40 (or more) by the end of this year. Hope they all doing well. Thanking you in advance for any help, Paul Amoroso #1207 -------------------------------- John T. Blair WA4OHZ email: jblair1948@cox.net Va. You'll have to measure the length of the existing line, then get a generic line that is equal to or longer than the original. Then carefully bend it to match the original. If the new line is longer, then you'll want to take up the excess length by putting a "U" in the line. >That screws down into the rear axle.
