Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Errors-To: bmcu-bounces@autox.team.net Karen and I drove to Phoenix for Thanksgiving. Driving allowed me to bring back a bunch of my late brother in law's tools. He ran a European repair shop in Cave Creek for many years, focusing mainly on Mercedes, Porshes, Jag sedans and such. My sister was able to get a lot of his tools sold, but not all. I was thinking of having a garage sale this weekend, but it is quite cold out in the garage and I don't know if I'll get everything sorted and inventoried by then. The sale may be on the 14th and 15th. I did get a nice Snap ON pittman arm puller on KSL classifieds, but that's about it for the moment. Stay tuned, I'll let folks know what I end up deciding. Anyone need a Klaan Tools KL 0021 Mercedes spring compressor set? I'd sell it for a mere $500, less than half of what it cost new. Wow. mjb. _______________________________________________ Bmcu@autox.team.net Archive: http://www.team.net/archive From bmcu-bounces@autox.team.net Wed Dec 4 19:51:17 2013 Return-Path: Delivered-To: mharc@autox.team.net Received: from 50-198-190-17-static.hfc.comcastbusiness.net (localhost [IPv6:::1]) by autox.team.net (Postfix) with ESMTP id 46E9E42EEF for ; Wed, 4 Dec 2013 19:51:17 -0700 (MST) Delivered-To: bmcu@autox.team.net Received: from oproxy1-pub.mail.unifiedlayer.com (oproxy1-pub.mail.unifiedlayer.com [66.147.249.253]) by autox.team.net (Postfix) with SMTP id 8F6D640526 for ; Wed, 4 Dec 2013 19:51:11 -0700 (MST) Received: (qmail 27016 invoked by uid 0); 5 Dec 2013 02:48:53 -0000 Received: from unknown (HELO box326.bluehost.com) (69.89.31.126) by oproxy1.mail.unifiedlayer.com with SMTP; 5 Dec 2013 02:48:53 -0000 s=default; h=Mime-Version:To:Date:Message-Id:Subject:Content-Type:From; bh=mGZNkphASsaNzjzEQNIp32/m01F+TU1k91qGSdgT8uE=; b=Ysg45Drv4JlKpAXfWe+RNg7nblCRAvYHNL+kqWnkNUIJ3h1gWIiBMldGE2x4aDIBM4Op8mFKOYiq2w5GCNhuhC1/6IQmjkkqfDNP87deGAB/TAwhly15eveYHnLdR3Km; Received: from [67.177.36.38] (port=49351 helo=[192.168.2.5]) by box326.bluehost.com with esmtpsa (TLSv1:RC4-SHA:128) (Exim 4.80) (envelope-from ) id 1VoOzl-0002FQ-7Y for Bmcu@autox.team.net; Wed, 04 Dec 2013 19:48:53 -0700 From: Andrew Frink Date: Wed, 4 Dec 2013 19:48:51 -0700 To: BMCU {sentby:smtp auth 67.177.36.38 authed with andrew@drooartz.com} Subject: [Bmcu] December newsletter is out Errors-To: bmcu-bounces@autox.team.net --===============2042526715== --Apple-Mail=_B22BD6C6-1564-4C1C-A67A-E1CEF4A5BD0F Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable charset=us-ascii Our ever intrepid newsletter editor has published our December = newsletter on our site: http://www.bmcutah.org/newsletters/ -- Drew Frink, BMCU Webguy http://www.bmcutah.org Member's password: Lucas --Apple-Mail=_B22BD6C6-1564-4C1C-A67A-E1CEF4A5BD0F Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable charset=us-ascii Our = ever intrepid newsletter editor has published our December newsletter on = our site:

The subject is a nifty kit from the UK for balancing wire wheels on conventional tire shop spin balancing machines. I organized a consortium to buy one of these, which consists of an inboard cone (universal) and two outboard plates (one for each of the common hub sizes) for the balancer's spindle. There are two memberships left in this enterprise, at $50 for lifetime borrowing privileges. This would make a great Christmas gift to you from either you or your co-pilot, if you own a Britmobile with wire wheels. Even if you don't opt for this, the kit rental window is now open, at $20/day. Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Errors-To: bmcu-bounces@autox.team.net It will still be cold, and the garage is a mess. So I think I will set up some tables on the front porch, keep a hot pot of coffee handy, and lay out some amazing treasures you just can't live without! Some of my late brother in law's tools, some various odds and ends, some of the random NOS Lucas bits I have laying around. Not being a morning person, I'll open up, so to speak, this Saturday, Dec. 14th at noon. Address is 739 South Park Street ( 540 East ) halfway between Liberty Park and Trolley Square. I no longer have the Fat Chance Garage merchant account set up, so I can't process credit cards. But there are some ATMs a couple blocks away ;-) I'll try to get some rough idea of what I have in an email friday, but don't hold your breath. mjb, shameless self promoter. _______________________________________________ Bmcu@autox.team.net Archive: http://www.team.net/archive From bmcu-bounces@autox.team.net Fri Dec 13 19:18:06 2013 Return-Path: Delivered-To: mharc@autox.team.net Received: from 50-198-190-17-static.hfc.comcastbusiness.net (localhost [IPv6:::1]) by autox.team.net (Postfix) with ESMTP id DA64042F68 for ; Fri, 13 Dec 2013 19:18:06 -0700 (MST) Delivered-To: bmcu@autox.team.net Received: from bradakis.com (50-198-190-18-static.hfc.comcastbusiness.net [50.198.190.18]) by autox.team.net (Postfix) with ESMTP id BE2094044C for ; Fri, 13 Dec 2013 19:18:00 -0700 (MST) Received: from bradakis.com (50-198-190-18-static.hfc.comcastbusiness.net [50.198.190.18]) by bradakis.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id 27BAFA091E for ; Fri, 13 Dec 2013 19:14:58 -0700 (MST) Date: Fri, 13 Dec 2013 19:14:57 -0700 From: Mark J Bradakis User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:25.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/25.0 SeaMonkey/2.22.1 To: British Motor Club Subject: [Bmcu] Getting ready Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Errors-To: bmcu-bounces@autox.team.net Schlepping stuff from the garage and the basement into the living room, preparing for tomorrow's porch sale.
