I need to have the TR3 bumper straightened and re-plated along with the front & rear bumperettes. Also, as I see the bumperettes are on sale at TRF for $49ea, does anyone have an idea at to the cost of chrome plating these days as it has been 40 years since I have had any done. Thanks! I'm also trying to avoid storing what's leftB this winter. Surplus items include the running engine; functioning transmission and differential; the whole chassis, including steering and front and rear suspension; doors; steering wheel; driver's seat; gauges; windshield frame; grille (no dents!); five 15" wheels with 4 Triumph globe hubcaps; and other stuff I can't think of right now. The fenders have been braised to the body tub, and I'm going for the tub, so the fenders may suffer during removal, but there are some spares. Hood and trunk lid (bonnet and boot) are in good shape. Convertible top frame; dash; I keep thinking of stuff and really need to quit. This sounds like I'm butchering a pristine car, but this one has been out in the Idaho weather for years. I really, really need this tub! Really! At any rate, call me if you need any of this stuff, as knowing it's going to a good brit-o-phile home will soothe my conscience. All that attended were impressed with the many fine examples of rare cars that were on display. We have an opportunity to visit this collection again! The plan is to meet at Meadowbrook Restorations on Saturday, November 15th at 10:00 am. It's very easy to get to. Take I-15 to Kaysville Exit 328, turn west and head aprox 1.5 miles until the street (200 North) ends. If you look slightly to your left you will see a large yellow metal building just across the street from where you are stopped. There is a large gravel parking area in front. Enter through the front personnel door, and prepare to be impressed. The address is: 181 North Angel St., Kaysville, Utah 84037 for you MapQuest fans. Afterwards we will head back up 200 North towards Main Street where we have a reserved area for lunch at PepperBelly's Restaurant at 141 North Main in Kaysville. They serve a mix of Mexican and American dishes surrounded by old car and gas station memorabilia. Looking forward to this one! -- Mitch D.
