Hello,
I would like to ask some advice from anyone out there with wire wheel cars.
I have recently ordered a new set of wheels after finding that it would be
cheaper to buy new ones than have the old ones refurbished. While looking
into this I have found much written concerning the cautions of haveing the
wheels tuned and especially balanced. Apparently many local tire shops do
not have the correct equipment to properly balance wire wheels. Can anyone
comment on this? Has anyone ever had a problem taking their wire wheels to
the local Discount Tire store for tire replacement and balancing?
Finally, can anyone suggest a reliable place to have my wire wheels serviced
in the Metro Detroit/ Ann Arbor area of Michigan?
