I thought I'd give you VTR members first shot at this. It's something I
'bought blindly' thinking it was something else. Turns out it's nothing
I'll ever use. It is one (1) NOS right-hand rear muffler (mild steel,
painted black) for the earlier TR4A dual pipe system. Reference numbers
are 307404 [Stanpart number] or SU1226 [supersession number as listed in
TRF price list]. A minor dent (from years of handling and storage) on
the pipe flange can be straightened in a matter of seconds. Otherwise,
it's as good as any new muffler you'd have bought in 1968 or 2000.

TRF lists these currently for $67.95. I'd like to see a deserving TR4A get
this and am happy to let it go for $45 (firm) including shipping within
the "lower 48."

I'll give folks on this list a couple of days (let's say Thursday, 12:00
noon EST); if necessary, I'll choose at random from the hundreds of
expected responses! ;-) If I get no takers, I'll go to the "triumphs"
e-mail list on Thursday.
