Interestingly enough, in the local paper this morning, there was an article
on the front of the sports section about a local oval track racer trying to
break into the Busch series, and how he was using a simulator to learn the new
tracks.
The article stated that his system cost in the neighborhood of $5K, but it
had everything down to a special seat that simulated the vibrations of a Busch
car. He claimed it helped by cutting down on the time to learn a new track.
For what it's worth, he finished 23rd.
