I had my Dr. take a mold of my inner ear. Then he had a pair molded out of sort
sort of soft plastic. I'm not sure of exactly what they are, but it's fairly
common to have them made up. Any good hearing specialist will know exactly what
you need.
There are lots of options you can have the Dr. install. If you wish they can
evn put a small speaker in the plugs for radio communication. It's just like
plugging in your iPod.
The Dr. visit is the most expensive part of the process. I think the plugs were
only $75, or less.
They're wonderful and I don't attend the race track without them.
