What is the conventional wisdom on placement of an engine oil cooler. I
need to install it in front of the radiator for the engine water. Should I
leave a gap (max is about 8") or mount it flush against the water radiator?
This is on a 1962 Corvette. Again anyones advice is appreciated, but if you
have one on a C1 Corvette please describe your experience with mounting
locations and experience.

Brand recommendations for oil cooler?

Thanks...Phil
