All this is a far cry from the early 60"s at the 24 hours of Daytona
when a Ferrari made a somewhat unexpected pit stop in the night. One
Ferrari mechanic went around the back of the car at full chat, while
another went around the front at speed, both intent on talking to the
driver to find out what was wrong.
You guessed it. They met at the drivers window head to head and knocked
themselves out.
For years the "Ferrari" pit stop was the brunt of much humor.
Just proves there is hope for us all.
