My 8+ year old (analog) cam corder, based upon the video results of the last
two race weekends, has expressed a firm desire to be retired. I thought about
another analog machine, then the wife suggested getting a digital since they
are coming down in price. (Gosh...... well, gee........ OK HONEY, LETS GO
SHOPPING!!).
I recall some threads about video systems some time back on this net, and my
questions:
1) Does anybody have a particular system that they really like?
2) What about separate lens, with the camera/recorder mounted inside the car?
3) Anything in particular to stay away from?
Feel free to respond on or off net......
Thanks in advance Carl

p.s. The virus that destroyed my system last week was apparently a new version
of the KLEZ virus. The systems in place now should significantly reduce the
possibility of that happening again.
