Speaking of Ford tow vehicles, I have a 1985 1 ton Econoline cargo van with
dual gas tanks. I have yet to secure an owner's manual for it, so there are
various specifications about which I know nothing. I do know it has a
rather thirsty 460 V8 in it, and I have yet to discern any difference in the
way it behaves with or without the open trailer and the Spitfire dragging
along.

Anyway, does anyone happen to know the capacity of the main rear tank and the
auxillary tank amidships? While replacing a fuel pump on the rear tank last
night I did see a '22' stamped into the steel, just under the filler neck,
is that the volume in gallons?
