If it is a street car engine and the current owner does not know its
application as an FF race engine, than a fair price is $150 - $200 assuming
it is a 711M casting. You can find the casting number on the driver's side
(exhaust side) above the pan toward the rear.
FWIW: these blocks are getting quite rare. A new one from Ford Motorsport
is fetching $800 a pop for the bare block. I have a friend with 5 of them
who will part with one for $250.
