survey: best sounding engine

it's been a little quiet on the list lately, so I thought I'd throw 
out a question. What, in your opinion, are some of the best sounding 
engines ever built?  Application doesn't matter- cars, boats, 
airplanes, lawnmower, whatever.
I'd have to put the classic V-12 packard/Rolls Royce Merlin engine on 
my list, as well as several Ferarri and Alfa motors.
