I don't think so. Again it is a grey area. Rotor or drum diameter was really
all that was specified in the rule books. And, certainly the allowances of
the fifties were stricter than in the sixties.
They were actually more concerned that your brakes worked, than what their
specification was.
Here is a quote from 1954 GCR: "All brake parts must be in perfect working
order, and the brake linings must be new or very good. The entrant should be
prepared to remove his brake drums for inspection".
The 1962 FIA regs for Group One Touring Cars say: Brakes: any system
improving the cooling or increasing the safety of the braking system is
authorized".
You want to argue that one??
It would have been rare for someone to actually check that you had the
correct caliper as long as the rotor was the correct diameter. By the early
sixties calipers could be modified but not substituted.
