Remember when the Porsche was classified, if briefly, as a sedan? And the
AMX, because it had no rear seat, as a sports car? >>

"Sports Car". Who ever came up with that name anyway??

Why is a Yenko Stinger a sports car and a Corvair a sedan?

Why is a Shelby GT350 a sports car and a notchback Mustang a sedan? And a
Mustang GT (fastback) is neither! Oh, and then the Boss 302 which has a
fastback is a sedan!

Alfa Romeo Sprints are sports cars and the GTA is a sedan. What about
Abarths? Let's not even get into that.

How about Ferraris and Astons? Are any of them sedans?

What does GT mean? GTO? Berlinetta? Coupe?

And you want to define "original intent" and "vintage racing"?

Time lines??? I have defined a few and I have cursed a few set by others. I'm
sure that mine are cursed by some. It's all decided by whoever is there at
the time they decide. Right, wrong?? Does it matter? It sticks for a long
time and everyone has to live with it unless they can become the one who
decides.
