Consider this your lucky day. You must have done something right to have your
gardian angel watching you so closely. My recommendation would be to at least
buy a set of Hepolite Powermax or better yet forged pistons. I won't use Jahns
pistons in anything I'd consider reving over 2500 RPM. They were OK for Model
A Fords, but have no business being in any motor built after WW2. When pistons
break, they make a nasty mess of the engine.

I'm building a 1840 MGB motor for vintage. I had hoped to use Jahns flat
topped pistons that are forty over.
Saddly, the machine shop I'm working with just informed me that of the five
pistons I gave them, two have a compression height better than .0625 too
short.
So, I'm in need of one piston. Anybody got one extra they might wish to
sell? Or, perhaps a set of four at bargain price?
