If going to Beaulieu and you have any interest in research, the library is a
must. Last time I was there, I sent my wife into the gardens and our friend
into the meusem, and I spent the whole time in the library.

Jake,

My top tip is the Buggatti Trust at the foot of Prescot Hillclimb. Phone first
as I'm not sure of the opening times. Lots of sectioned components, a couple
of cars, lots of drawings and photos. Near Cheltenham on the way from Morgan's
to Haynes.

Somewhat to the north of Morgans is the Westfield factory. I rate them over
Westfield for the quality of what they are doing. Interesting operation and
might also be able to blag a test drive in their 400kg carbon chassis car or a
bike engined tube frame or their V8.

British Motor Heritage Trust at Gaydon south of Birmingham is supposed to be
almost as big and almost as good as the Beaulie collection. I think Jaguar
still have a collection in Coventry but with all these mergers and sales I lose
track of what went where with who. Beaulie is a constant on the coast near
Southampton - a very full day. Goodwood a little to the east of there is an
interesting spot even with nothing going on - very atmospheric and expect could
get a 'fast lap' ride from the racing school or do a half day's course.
