By the way, the backwards number 44 that Bob always ran on the rear of
his cars got me my wife.
I was given number 44 for a national race at Mid Ohio in 1968 for my
Lotus Super 7. My crew man put the 44 on backwards on the rear as a
joke.
At tech this little girl came over to me and said, "who do you think you
are, Bob Tullius or something?".
To make a short story shorter, She came down to my paddock to help me
change the number and we got married 8 months later.
