45 Anniversary Elva Reunion & Great Califorina Track Opportunity

CSRG will host the Elva Reunion celebrating 45 years since the founding
of Elva cars by Frank Nichols. The event will be held at the famous Sears
Point Raceway (http://www.searspoint.com) in Sonoma, California, on
November 27, 28, and 29, 2000. All Elva cars are welcome and CSRG will
include an all Elva race as well as a full card of race classes. For Elva
entrants there will be a dinner at a local hotel on Friday night and a
barbecue at the track on Saturday after the races. There will be track
time available on Friday as well as practice and a race on both Saturday
and Sunday. In addition to the Sears Point event, there will be racing
events on both of the following weekends.

On the weekend of November 6th and 7th, SCCA (http://www.scca.org)
vintage will host and event at the legendary Laguna Seca Raceway
(http://www.laguna-seca.com)in Monterey, California. There will also be a
featured race for Elva cars during this weekend and again a full race
schedule.

To round out the two weeks on the weekend of the 13th and 14th, CSRG will
host their end of season finale. That event will be held at Thunderhill
Park (http://www.thunderhill.com)in Willows, California. Thunderhill is a
new three mile long track set in rolling hills in central California, north
of Sacramento. These three events present an unique opportunity for
racers around the world to experience three outstanding California tracks
in two weeks Make plans now to join us on the west coast for warm, mild
and dry end of season racing. You don?t want to miss the chance to try the
Carousel at Sears Point, experience the famous Corkscrew at Laguna, and
learn the challenging new three mile track at Thunderhill.

Cars that are accepted by current vintage racing organizations are
eligible to participate. Drivers must have racing licenses from VMC or FIA
registered sanctioning bodies and valid medical cards.

Hotel and other local information can be found for each venue at the
track web page.
Services will be available for track support and race car transport between
tracks.

Though the race dates are fixed, details of the social events, entry forms
etc, are being put together. Watch this space for further details or
contact urls. Tom Matychowiak, registrar, is reachable at
tmatycho@ix.netcom.com or (559) 432-5738. We will put out a web page with
