Thx for your advise, particularly on maching of the oilite bronze -
which I'll be doing elsewhere on the car.
Just realised that my initial query failed to mention I was looking for
vibration absorption [since my tub is fiberglass] - which is why I was
looking for Metalastic bushings. I doubt that oilite bronze would do
much in that regard - what about Nylatron? - I'd alway assumed that was
pretty rigid too.
