Yes, the trans. will fit but it's not a straightforward swap. There's a spacer issue. There were two kinds of 1750 trans., also. Better to find a whole drivetrain from a 1600 if that's the way you want to go. What series is this being run in, VARAC? Please don't call them Alphas, by the way. It hurts my ears.
