Since you are starting with a smallish truck, you don't want to use up space
or add weight.
I've used ramps made from heavy equipment skids stamped from heavy tin. they
will carry almost anything you can carry and are light enough to be easily
picked up. put one set inside on the floor with a bumper jack at the front
to a bracket between them. They should end at the back of the bed. Make a
catch for another set to go to the ground. I have a angle iron lip across the
back pointing up and another pointing down on the ramps so I can adjust the
ramps to fit the car. .
Jack the inside ramps up to meet the angle of the outside ramps and load your
car off or on!
When your through, slide the outside ramps between the insiders and jack the
ramps with or without the car on them down.
Simple cheap and it works.
