I would also add paint gas.
When we painted our MGA, we took incredible pains to isolate half the barn
with acres of polythene sheeting, 2million staples and 200 lbs of duct tape.
We even installed a vent tunnel with its own fan and an inlet tunnel with a
filter.
However, in spite of all this, most of what I own is now a light pink. I
would not have believed how insidious paint gas is. On recent stripdown, I
noticed the clutch inside the bellhousing had been coated ... slightly pink!

I too lusted after a blast cabinet, until one day, I watched my friendly
local sand blast man come out of his sand blasting room spitting out sand
and spending the next ten minutes washing grit from his eyes.
I think he deserves what I pay him!
Malcolm, MGA, Napa
