Hello,

Anyone looking for a sorted, front runner B. My race friends have a
clean 1966 MGB forsale, you can visit the page listed for details.
http://ares.csd.net/~suiter/umbertos.html

I do not have any financial interest in this car, but I did provide a
little web-space to present the car. If I was not such an Alfa Romeo
nut, this racer would be a good next race car. These folks are going to
be running in SCCA SSC later this year and keeping the Italian vintage
iron for racing fun, thus the B must go to the right buyer.

On the topic of webers 45s being to large for the 1600. Some of my
other Alfa race friends are fitting 48s to a fully flowed 2 liter and
some have them fitted to 1750 Alfa engines. The best bet as one of the
other VR list member has said is to play on the dyno or the track, if
you can do the swaps in a timely manner. Your heads, cams, and timing
are on the extreame end of radical for these setups with the powerband
on the upper end. Of course, I don't have the 15K to build an engine
like this, so I just settle into my solid running 1600 with 40s.

I am not sure I have seen anyone running 42s, any other racers have any
experience on any engine with these webers?
