Jim Wiseman of the Giulietta Register in the UK says a Citroen 2CV
alternator will work, even on a Veloce. I'll be over in APril and plan
to verify it. I gave up on the Japanese units - about 5 mm too big! I
run a Bosch generator which survives 7500 RPM.

Safely back from New Delhi, but left two days before the "All India AUto
Expo" -s should've been better than Detroit!

All generalizations, with the possible exception of this one, are false!
