Good message. It really says what the sport "should" be about, but I don't
think we can ever go back to that era. Probably wouldn't actually want to
anyway.

Drove my three week old Spitfire to IRP from Toledo to go to drivers school
in 1965. Wore out the tires the first day. Borrowed a set of recaps from my
driving instructor and made it through. Broke down on the way home and slept
beside the car. Made it home on Tuesday, late for work and broke. Yeah, it
sure was a lot of fun.
